A little about the artist!

My name is Megan, and I spent a lot of my childhood creating in various ways. My parents put up with pastel and charcoal stains on my bedroom walls and paint stains on the carpet, yet never stopped encouraging my artistic expression. Growing up I somewhat steered away from creative pastimes, but I’m grateful to have rediscovered my passion for art in 2014 after I was asked to do a custom pet portrait by a friend. Since then I’ve been honored to memorialize hundreds of cats, dogs, even horses for friends, family, and friends of friends and family, all by word of mouth and an occasional social media blast.

What started on a little corner of my dining room table has now graduated to my home studio, and I’m hopeful that this website will make it easier for me to reach new clients and to display my work. I’ve had a lot of fun breaking into the abstract world and I look forward to developing new creative techniques. Happy to have you along for the ride! A little about Henrietta!

Henrietta is a life-sized painted fiberglass cow that resides happily in her pasture underneath my studio window, where I can gaze upon her to find inspiration while I’m painting. That’s totally not weird at all, right?
